The Greenlands (Elfhame / Middle Earth / Fairy Land) is the land of our dreams. The Greenlands is a place where Norse, and Celtic mythologies meet, and intertwine. The mythologies of these two races became inextricably linked when the Norse (Vikings, Danes, Normans) repeatedly invaded Briton.
By the Medieval period, the people of Middle-erde / Elfhame (or The Greenlands!), shared the myths and symbolism of these two mythologies, such as the common herb, mistletoe. Old English has words such as dweorg (dwarf) and orc (demon, later, ogre). The word hobbit was mentioned in the 1612 Pendle witch trials, in the north of England.
This Celto-Nordic mythology passed down from the Iron Age to the Medieval period, was then rescued from oblivion by scholars, and writers such as Spencer, in the C16th, Sarah Coleridge, in the C19th, and C.S. Lewis, Tolkien, Rowling et al, in the C20th. In the C21st, The Greenlands is being explored anew in a cycle of six feature films, by Rose Goldthorp.

Welcome to the The Greenlands! I am a filmmaker with five ‘No Budget’ feature films under my belt, so far ... some have even, amazingly enough, been selected for screening at international festivals. I have set up this Hub to be a transmedia proving ground, hoping to raise interest and pennies for my planned, 4-season web series (and features' tours): The Greenlands Chronicles, and my 'The Greenlands Musicals' (already both written) which are feature comedic musicals, "The Greenlands: Uncovered" and "The Greenlands: REcovered.
